Newcomers & Friends of Georgetown is a social and recreational organization established to welcome residents to Georgetown; to acquaint them with the town, its people, and its resources.
If you would like to make new friends - whether you have just moved here or lived here for years, Newcomers & Friends of Georgetown is ready to welcome you. Our monthly meetings, special activities, and many diversified interest groups give you the chance to get to know your neighbors. Please browse our website to find out more about us.
The monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month from September through May. Social time starts at 9:30 am and the meeting begins at 10:00 am.
We meet at Main Street Baptist Church, which is located at 1001 Main Street. Please enter through the double glass doors that face 11th Street. Parking is available on 11th Street in the church parking lot, or on 10th Street in the public parking lot. Street parking is also available around the church.
